Description

Fixed Concrete Pulverisers are also known as demolition pulveriser, hydraulic crusher, concrete crushers or concrete processor.

EarthQuake Fixed Concrete Pulverisers are primarily used for:

  • Secondary Demolition and Recycling:

    • They excel at breaking down larger concrete chunks produced during initial demolition into smaller, more manageable pieces.
    • This facilitates easier separation of concrete from rebar, preparing the material for recycling or further processing.
    • In-built steel shears for cutting of rebar.
    • Used to break-down in situ concrete slabs.

  • Material Reduction:

    • Pulverisers significantly reduce the volume of concrete debris, minimising transportation costs and maximising space on-site.

Speed-Valve Technology Advantage

Speed-Valve Technology is an advanced hydraulic system designed to dramatically boost the efficiency and productivity of our hydraulic pulverisers. By optimizing hydraulic fluid flow, this innovative system accelerates jaw opening and closing times during demolition tasks.

This translates to:

  • Faster Cycle Times: Reduced downtime between operations, allowing for more work to be completed in less time.
  • Smoother Operation: Consistent and predictable performance minimizes delays and interruptions.
  • Increased Productivity: Enhanced efficiency leads to significant cost-savings on the job site.
  • Extended Lifespan: Optimized fluid dynamics reduce stress on components, prolonging the attachment's service life.

This technology provides a clear competitive advantage, delivering faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective demolition operations.

Concrete Pulverisers play a crucial role in the recycling process of concrete by breaking it down into a usable form.

The term Fixed means that the hitch does not rotate. The Hitch is bolted directly to the frame of the pulveriser.

The EarthQuake Fixed Concrete Pulverisers include:

  • Double Pin Hitch to suit carrier machine
  • Hoses and Fittings (hydraulic quick connectors are not included or recommended)
  • Toolbox including spare nut and bolts, feeler gauge and accessories
  • Grease gun and grease
  • Spare set of steel shear blades

Earthquake Fixed Concrete Pulverisers come in a variety of sizes to suit mini excavators from 2 tonnes to excavators up to 38 Tonnes.

How do Fixed Concrete Pulverisers work?

The Earthquake Fixed Concrete Pulverisers are powerful demolition tools designed to crush concrete and other hard materials. Here's a breakdown of how they work:

  • Hydraulic Power: These pulverizers are typically attached to excavators and powered by the excavator's hydraulic system.
  • Jaw Mechanism: The core of the pulverizer is a pair of jaws:
    • Fixed Jaw: One jaw remains stationary.
    • Moving Jaw: The other jaw moves towards the fixed jaw, creating a crushing force.
  • Crushing Action:
    1. The excavator positions the pulverizer against the concrete.
    2. The hydraulic system activates, driving the moving jaw towards the fixed jaw.
    3. The concrete is trapped between the jaws and crushed into smaller pieces.
    4. The jaws then open, allowing the crushed material to fall away.

Key Features:

  • Powerful Crushing Force: They generate significant force to break down even the toughest concrete.
  • Versatility: Can handle a wide range of materials, including reinforced concrete, bricks, and other debris.
  • Efficiency: Reduce material volume significantly, making it easier to transport and dispose of.
  • Safety: Can be used in confined spaces where other demolition methods might be impractical or dangerous.

Applications:

  • Demolition: Used in various demolition projects, including building deconstruction, roadwork, and infrastructure removal.
  • Recycling: Can help prepare materials for recycling by reducing them to manageable sizes.
