Earthmoving Warehouse offer a wide variety of auger drives specifically designed for your backhoe.
Backhoe Auger Drives can be categorised into two main types: Standard Flow and High Flow.
Standard Flow Auger Drives
These auger drives are suitable for backhoes with hydraulic flow rates of up to 115 Lpm and operating pressures of up to 240 bar. They are ideal for drilling in soft to medium-hard soil conditions and for applications such as:
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Installing fence posts
- Digging post holes
- Creating foundation piers
Our standard flow range of Auger Drives that suit Backhoes are the PD5, PD6 and the PD7. Each of these Auger Drives are available with the optional HALO casing, to allow for single person operation.
High Flow Auger Drives
These auger drives are designed for backhoes with higher hydraulic flow rates and operating pressures. They are ideal for drilling in hard soil conditions, rocky ground, and for larger diameter holes. Some popular High Flow auger drives from Earthmoving Warehouse include the PD4HF, PD6HF and the PD8HF, which are also available with the optional HALO casing.
Choosing the Right Auger Drive for Your Backhoe
When choosing an auger drive for your backhoe, it is important to consider the following factors:
- The size and weight of your backhoe.
- The type of soil conditions you will be drilling in.
- The size of the holes you need to drill.
- The hydraulic flow rate and operating pressure of your backhoe.
It is also important to purchase an auger drive from a reputable dealer, such as Earthmoving Warehouse, to ensure that you get a high-quality product that is backed by a warranty.
